Materials

  • ½ cup Baking soda
  • 30 drops Lemon essential oil
  • 1 ½ cups Powdered coconut milk
  • 1 ½ cups Magnesium bath flakes
  • 3 tbsp Dried lavender
  • 3 tbsp Dried chamomile
  • 12 slices Dehydrated lemon wheels broken in half

Packaging

  • 1 liter Glass jar
  • Avery 22823 label paper or cardstock
  • 2 feet Cotton twill tape ribbon
  • 1 slice Dehydrated lemon wheel

Instructions

Soothing Milk Bath Salts

  • Pour the baking soda into a medium large glass bowl and add the lemon essential oil. Stir with a fork until combined. Fold in the remaining ingredients with a wooden spoon until evenly incorporated.

Packaging

  • Print the Soothing Milk Bath Salts labels using Avery 22823 label paper or cardstock. Carefully apply the label to the jar. If using cardstock, cut the labels out then apply to the glass jar with tape.
  • Thread a lemon slice through the ribbon then tie the ribbon around the neck of the glass jar into a bow.
  • Add the Soothing Milk Bath Salts to the jar and present with a wooden scoop if desired.

To Use

  • Add 1-2 cups of the Soothing Milk Bath Salts to your bath, varying the amount to your preference and the size of your bathtub.
  • Sit back and relax!

Notes

The Soothing Milk Bath Salts should be used within a couple weeks. To prolong its life, add all the ingredients together except for the lemon essential oil. When taking a bath, add the lemon essential oil directly to the bathtub. When prepared without the oil, the milk bath salts should last for several months.
